Before and After Powder Room

For the last 9 months, we have been using a half bath / powder room on our main floor that had no mirror, had a leaky faucet, unfinished walls, no toilet paper holder, no towel holder and a light fixture that came with the house. It was bleak, but with 2 children 21 months apart, most of our house renovation and decorating was on a backseat for a while after the birth of our second. Before we moved in, we did have wainscoting installed to dress up the space.

I finally got to tackling the wallpaper and installed a light and airy, on-trend design that ended up being super forgiving on our uneven and unlevel walls. You can source it directly here. I went with the Santorini woven in Subtle Blue. Finally, the mirror and light fixture went up. I went with a more modern faucet with some height. I didn't want the hassle of moving the existing light box up higher, so I went with an adjustable, vertical wall sconce that fit the space perfectly.
