I'm always looking for new ideas, and wallpaper accents as art are a great decor add. Especially convenient as you don't have to commit a pattern to an entire room. Here are some lovely looks:

    You could also use high-end wrapping paper, which would be even more cost effective. Or handmade paper from a place like Paper Source would also be beautiful and inexpensive.
